If something went wrong you have (at least) two options to debrinck your device
Option 1 (working U-BOOT)[]
- On pendrive put file usb_upgrade_app.bin (working upgrade file for your device)
- Insert pendrivie into STB and power up
- Enter uboot menu
- Enter following commands:
setenv usb_upgrade 1 setenv usb_upgrade_path usb_upgrade_app.bin saveenv reset
After reseting the device should start firmware upgrade.
Option 2 (U-BOOT not working)[]
What you need:
- Working flash dump
- SPI Programmer
You can program SPI Flash memory without desoldering it from PCB using test pins on bottom layer of PCB
